I introduced Amann Kimiko. She lived in foreign land. She came back Japan. She went to high school in Osaka. After the school, she married with person. She wrote “ちぃちゃんのかげおくり”and “おにたのぼうし”. It was written junior high school book. I remembered it. “ちぃちゃんのかげおいくり” was very sad. I should read it. It was written the era which Japan had a war. I was thought this true.

In American story is very long. The sentence is little difficult. In Japanese story is very short and simple sentence. I can’t remember the American story. But I remembered Japanese story. The Japanese children remember a lot of famous story. So, when they were a child, he or her mother read the famous book every night. Japanese story is very short, so the mother finished reading it soon. It is enough time to have fifteen minutes. I have a few questions. American story is long, so the mother can’t finish reading it one night. It takes time to read it. Do the children forget the beginning story? In Japanese children story don’t write Haiku. Haiku is very difficult for Japanese children. If I explain them Haiku, they don’t have an interest. In American story was used foreign language. In Japan don’t use it. And there are many letters in American book. Picture is very few. There are a lot of pictures in Japanese book. The sentence is very few. A cover is real face. It use practical picture. Picture is very few, do American children think boring book? Japanese book aren’t real. This is like comic. It is impractical. The Little Plum is like real story. It thinks very complex. Do the children understand complex feeling? Japan book is fantastic story. It is like having dream. American book use the baby language. But Japan book is not used it. It is used polite Japanese. And there aren't book’s summary in back of the cover. American book was written it. There are another book’s presentations in American’s book back of the cover. Another book’s series summary is written back page. And an author’s name is big. There are a lot of characters in one book. In Japanese’s book, an author’s name is very small. Children don’t notice the name. So they don’t know Japanese author. Teacher said “Rumer Godden is very famous author.” I had a question. Who is famous author in Japan? I don’t know. So Japanese author aren’t may evaluated by people. American story divide chapter. But Japanese story don’t divide it. Some American sentence was wrong. And Little Plum was written a lot of Japanese habit. And introduction is long. There are a lot of different points. I don’t understand why Little Plum very long is and it is picture book. It is quite different Japanese picture book. I don’t like book, when I was childhood. If Japanese picture book was such as very long, I would’t read book in my life. I thought that Japanese book like very much.

ミニ講義まとめ

ルーマンゴッドンとおなじくらい、１９世紀の終わりに生まれた。初めて本を書いたのが１９６０年でたくさんの本を書いた。ジプシーであるキジーは一つの本にしか出てきていないが、ノナとブリンダなどこの家族は他の本の中でも出てきている。同じキャラクターをたくさんの本でつかっている。例えばシリーズもので五人の子供が出てきているのにも使われている。もう一つは、Girl’s schoolという本は夏休みと冬休みしか家に帰れない。ずっと学校にいる状態である。つまらない学校である。
１００冊もの本を書いた。作品の中にはテレビ化・ドラマ化されたものもある。ルーマンゴッドンはイギリスの子供小説家としてとても有名である。

I thought that it is important to have strong spirit and express feelings. But it is important to control feelings. The girl wasn't needed by anyone. I was very sad. I thought that she was indefatigable. This story warmed my heart.


There was a girl named Kizzy. She was bullied by classmates. She didn't have house. So she lived in grandmother's house. One day, grandmother died. She lost house again. A large landowner took Kizzy in his house. She lived a happy life.
